Frequently asked questions

Can I connect my existing payment providers to Pay.com?

Yes. Pay.com is provider-agnostic, you can bring your existing acquirers, PSPs, and APM connections into the orchestration layer and use Pay.com purely to route, tokenize, and report across them.

Can I route transactions across multiple acquirers from a single integration?

Yes. One integration with Pay.com gives you access to every connected acquirer, processor, and APM. You can switch acquirers, add new ones, or change routing logic at any time without re-integrating.

What parameters can I use to configure routing rules (e.g. geography, card type, cost, risk score)?

You can route by issuer country and BIN, card scheme, card type (credit, debit, prepaid), transaction amount, currency, MCC, customer attributes, risk score, and provider performance. Rules can be combined, prioritized, and updated through the dashboard with no code changes.

How does Pay.com's intelligent routing work?

Our routing engine analyzes each transaction's characteristics, issuer country, card type, amount, currency, risk score, and historical performance, then sends it down the path most likely to succeed at the lowest cost. Decisions happen in milliseconds and are continuously refined by live performance data.
